In selecting a safari lodge providing single user activities(not group), as a hard core photographer, my choice proved to be perfect and the mixed activities of safari drives, Zambezi river tours and tributary canoeing gave me an immense range of photographic opportunities allowing me to explore each and everyone to its maximum potential given i was not lumbered by the individual needs of an accompanying group. 

Focused on the great selection of bird life in Africa the Zambezi river offered many opportuntites to photograph colones of camile beeaters, fisheagles,  a broad range of kingfishers, african skimmers as well as many animals of course including 3 of the alpha predetors. The sometimes very raw cycle of life which is omni present and stark sometimes horrifying reminders  are around every corner.
